FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER:  Good!  Good!

WOLF MAN:  And no inviting Abbott and Costello along this time, okay?

Found this image online, of Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolf Man and Glenn Strange as the Frankenstein monster.  This is either from the set of HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1944), HOUSE OF DRACULA (1945) or ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN (1948).  I’m guessing the latter, but I don’t know for certain.

I do know that I wouldn’t mind bumping into these two at the local coffee shop.

Notice Chaney’s hand isn’t made up as the Wolf Man’s hand.  The white shirt Chaney’s wearing is also notable because in the movies as Larry Talbot aka the Wolf Man, Chaney almost always wore dark clothes.
